Student Registration

Graduate Student: You must have a department head or research advisor certify your student eligibility. Bring your ID card or a letter signed by your department head or advisor. “Student” will be indicated on your badge. Postdoctoral fellows, hospital residents, interns and laboratory technicians do not qualify as students.

Undergraduate Students: Registration will be accepted in advance. To receive your badge on-site, bring a student ID card or a letter signed by your department head, research advisor or teacher.

 

Registration Fees

Early discounted registration fees will be offered until June 27, 2017 (11:59 PM, EST).  Online and fax registrations must be paid by credit card (Master Card, Visa or American Express only).  Registrations sent by mail must be accompanied by credit card information or check payment. Checks must be drawn on U.S. bank funds and made payable to FASEB -- WCAAULS Purchase orders will not be accepted. 

Upon completion of the registration and payment, a confirmation email will be sent to  participants. Please present the registration confirmation at the Congress Registration desk onsite to pick up your materials.

The Full Registration includes:
  • Admission to all scientific events and exhibition
  • Opening and Closing Ceremony
  • Get-Together Party on Sunday
  • Welcome Reception on Monday
  • Gala on Wednesday
  • Coffee breaks and light lunches

One Day Registration includes:
  • Admission to all scientific events and exhibition - Day Regsitered
  • Opening and Closing Ceremony
  • Coffee breaks and light lunches – Day Registered
The Registration Fee for Accompanying Persons includes:
  • Opening and Closing Ceremony
  • Get-Together Party on Sunday
  • Welcome Reception on Monday
  • Gala on Wednesday

Visa Requirements

Invitation letters for visa purposes can only be sent to people who have completed the registration process. Further information regarding the visa requirements you can find here.
 

Cancellations and Refunds

Notifications of cancellation must be submitted to the WCAAULS Registration Office in writing prior to July 27, 2017.  Cancellations received by July 27, 2017 will be subject to a $100 non-refundable processing fee.  No refunds will be issued after July 27, 2017.  Please email cancellation request to: registration@wc10seattle.org. 
 

Registration Resource Center

Once registration is completed, visit the Registration Resource Center to:

  • Print a receipt and invitation letter
  • Send an email confirmation
  • Update your contact information
  • Invite a colleague
  • Check to see how your badge will look

Meeting Materials

You will not receive your badge prior to the meeting. There will be on-site kiosks set up to print your badge upon your arrival at the meeting.  Program information will be available online prior to the meeting for individual downloading. You should also plan to download the meeting app prior to arriving.  Email notification will be sent when the app is ready to download.  
 

On-site Registration

On-site registration will be available at Washington State Convention Center beginning Sunday, August 20, 2017 through Thursday, August 24, 2017.
 

Registration Transfers

Meeting registrations cannot be transferred to another person. If the registrant cannot attend the WCAALUS Meeting in person for any reason, his/her registration must be cancelled, and the replacement person must register for the meeting separately.
