Abstract Submission

Just Announced—Submission Deadline Extended to April 24, 2017!

  1. All abstracts must be submitted electronically. Abstracts will not be accepted via mail, fax or e-mail. 
  2. Abstracts must be in English.
  3. Text cannot exceed 1000 characters including spaces. The minimum length required is characters 500.
  4. All abstracts must be submitted via the abstract submission website using the online text submission form (Attachments are not permitted).
  5. Do not include the author information, title or references in the abstract text area.
  6. Presenting Author MUST be the first author of the abstract.
  7. Invited speakers must submit an abstract of their talk. Please select "Invited Speaker" only if you have been formally invited.
  8. To begin the process, an account MUST be created. From the submission page, click “New to this Site?” If you wish to return later to make changes, to complete an unfinished abstract submission or revise the submission, you should login under “returning user” with the login information you created.
  9. Revisions -  DO NOT submit the abstract more than once.  The abstract submission site allows for revisions. Go to the login page and enter the account holder’s Username and Password.  Click on the “Edit Submission” button next to the  title of the abstract you want to revise.  
  10. The Program Committee reserves the right to decline a presentation for any submitted abstracts that lack scientific content or merit, or merely announce the availability of a resource or service.
  11. After successful abstract submission, you will receive an e-mail confirmation that includes the submission ID number, log in name, password, and abstract title.
  12. The deadline to edit your abstract for oral presentation is April 24, 2017, 11:59 PM U.S. PST (this includes poster submissions).
  13. Programming information (abstract acceptance letters) will be sent by email to presenting authors. Please check the important dates and deadlines page for notification dates.
  14. There is a $30.00 (non-refunable) abstract fee for each abstract submitted, payment of the abstract processing fee does not include registration or housing.
